I am no fragrance connoisieur, but I firmly believe that being beautiful also entails the right kind of perfume to go along with the look that you are trying to peg.

So, for my very first perfume review, follow the jump to read my. thoughts and opinion on  Pure Custo Barcelona Collector's Edition, Woman (Eau de Parfum)!

Finally received the Pure Custo Barcelona Collector's Edition, Woman bottle today!

I immediately fell in love with the titled scent! It's a 2012 release that was concocted by Alberto Morillas, known to have formulated other popular perfumes such as CKOne, Acqua Di Gio and Bulgari Collections. No wonder, the minute I first spritz'd it on my wrist, I immediately found the similarity in smell with my very first owned perfume bottle way back in high school, the CKOne.

Top notes are citrusy intensity of lemon, Meditteranean luminosity of bergamot, femininity of sage and exotic warmth of ginger; middle notes are enhancing power of Super Hedione, mystery of a flower note of violet, exotic touch of pink pepper and the sugary chords of exotic fruits; base notes are warmth of wood, sensuality of musk and the warm and evocative trace of vanilla.

It's an all-in-one package & it's gorgeous.

It has an almost swooping theatricality to it, like Haute Couture. Very Custo Barcelona. It honestly smells like something vintage. Reminds you of Katherine Hepburn sort of way that I really, really adore! (Don't know why but it just does). Easily, this is the best thing I've smelled this year!

It covers the skin with comfortable cleanness, warmed by a generous dollop of vanilla & its citrusy scent. It felt as it adhered to my body like a second skin, blurring the lines between my own personal scent and the fragrance. For me, it smells really comforting, sensual, classy, sexy, and most of all, very refreshing.

It's the kind of scent that takes you to summer with a really sexy attitude. I am smitten and I will never be without it.

The bottle wrap is really beautiful. It kind of makes me wish it is detachable so I can wear them as a bangle or as a necklace!

The only thing I would've wished they did much better is the canister. It could be mistaken as container for your sunnies or your eyeglasses. Could be better if it comes in a box :)


But overall, if you are looking for a refreshing scent and one that matches your flair for summer fashion, florals and pastels--you can never go wrong with this pink baby! :)
