Oooookayyyy...I have to admit--visiting BeautyWorld 2012 Trade Exhibition was e-x-h-a-u-s-t-i-n-g. True. My legs hurt and I was so hungry. BUT, it's all worth it! I managed to speak to a couple of new and upcoming cosmetic distributors here in the UAE--and look forward to them coming here really soon!

This year, BeautyWorld Middle East was organized by Messe Frankfurt in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, UAE. They occupied Saaeed Halls 1-3 (imagine how HUGE it was!)








NOTE: The exhibitors were not the "popular" brands, but they are the lesser known brands for cosmetics, fragrances, hair products, etc here in the Middle East as well as internationally, and they are looking to expand their labels in this part of the world.

One section I was raving to see was the "Korea" alley of the exhibition. Why? Because of BB CREAM!

BB Cream is Blemish Balm, Blemish Base or Beblesh Balm (due to an apparent copyright on the word "blemish") --it has been said that this is the "Secret of Korean Actresses", as we have seen very apparent that Koreans & Japanese alike, have flawless and radiant white skin. Now you know why I was so excited to see the "Korea" section! And....tada! I got this! It's a Korean brand, Alobon's Super BB Cream in Pressed Powder. I don't have much to say about this right now, but I might do a review soon about different BB creams in the market. However, surprisingly--it smells really good! Ha!

I also came across this Taiwanese Brand "Red & Black", and I saw they have an HD Loose Powder. I must say--this was a good buy for me! This one is comparable to the other "popular" brands. I tried it already, and I'm happy with the way it easily blends with my favorite foundation. The look it gives is flawless coverage :)

Oh, Kryolan! You are the superstar of my stash! I looooove this Kryolan  Eyeshadow Palette in Metallic Luxury 2, oh and the brush is just oh-so-gorgeous!

Met some friends as well in the event, one of them, Bes, who was a salon educator and had a really funky hairstyle. Also met new friends alike :) Including one very kind and sophisticated lady, who asked me what brushes she should use for different purposes. Brushes 101! Woohoo!

Oh, and I also got this Glitter Eyeliner from FlorMar, a Turkish company. I got to try it the other day and I could say that the formula is smooth, however, there aren't enough glitters to make your eyes really "sparkle".

For now, sorting out business cards--and looking forward to meeting these new and fresh brands here in the UAE :) ...and resting my tired and weary legs, by the way. Hahaha!
