Red Lips 101: Can You Pull It Off?

Recently, I've been shook up when a man, yes, a man, not a woman, and certainly not someone who wears makeup, asked me-- "why not apply a red lipstick on her?". Seriously, why do you ask?

I know red, bold, lips are attractive. You can easily be spotted a mile away when you wear a really good shade, and probably attract a hundred cute men. But when should you wear one?

I am no fashion-guru, but at least, I know what shades to combine it with.

For me, bold, red lips equals bold hues.

1. TRY A SUMMERY POP OF COLOR--LIKE GOLDEN YELLOW OR TANGERINE.

You can never go wrong with wearing a bright summer shade, paired with a bright, coral-colored red lip shade. It's like summer combined with fall!

2. FOR THE SUPER GIRLY GIRL IN YOU, YOUR PINK MATCHES!

If from birth til now, you have associate yourself with the color pink; you're in luck. Coz your whole wardrobe of pinks can get its own revamp "adult style" by just pairing it with a kind of like "old rose" colored red lip shade.

 3. ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY? WEAR IT WITH A GREEN HUE.

Think red rose. Stem is green, kind of like dark, teal-like green. You'll be a life-sized beautiful, and dashing red rose.

 4. GOLD NEVER GETS OLD. NEVER.

Rock your gold outfit with a hot red lip shade. Wearing gold always has its WOW factor. Try pairing it with a glitzy shade. You'll just be oozing with uber sex appeal.

5. PAINT THE TOWN BLUE, AS IN ROYAL BLUE.

It feels retro. Blue and scarlet hues just screams 70's to me.
