I am thrilled to introduce to you Mikyajy’s newest palette –
The Jetsetter Palette. Remember my previous blog post about this? I promised to
give you a review with my inputs and recommendations on this beauty. So, follow the jump and read more about what I think about the palette, which shoot I've used it, and the oh so gorgeous face who wore my Mikyajy makeup for review!
The Packaging
It’s sleek, classy and travel-friendly. That’s why it’s called “Jetsetter”, because
it’s made especially for those who travel often, those who are always
on-the-go, but still wants to be beautiful in spite of jet-lag.
The first time I held this palette, I knew it could be the
best palette made for those who travel. It fits right in my bag (yes, and my
bag wasn’t even that big!). So if you woke up in the morning and can’t decide
which shade of color to put as your eye shadow, just stash it in your bag and
carry it with you to your lunch date, dinner or night out with friends :)
And what’s even greater about this palette is that the
palettes are detachable into 5 mini-palettes that can be brought separately.
Like if you only want to use 1 shade and don’t need the whole lot, just take it
out (it's easy as 1-2-3 coz there's a little round hole at the back of each mini-palette where you can just push it out and pop it in the travel case and voila! You’re ready to go! :)

The Swatches
Twenty four (24) vibrant eye shadow colors in the palette, 4 powder
blushers and 16 lip glosses. Isn’t that great?
Well, I think it’s fabulous!
They are extremely easy to blend, the colors are exact as they look in pan with a uber smooth texture and they show up well even without any base. But of course, adding a base under it make them more vibrant and stays for a longer period.

Overall Verdict:
Pros:
- First of all I love the fact that they have limited but varied shades in this palette. There are an endless amount of combinations you could create by just using the 6 swatches in each mini-palettes.
- Eyeshadows are finely milled and pigmented and gives a super velvety soft finish.
- There are matte and shimmer finishes.
- The case is sturdy and fits right in your bag, so it's really a jetsetter palette for your travels.
- They will look great with or without eye primer.
- It's great value for your money.
Cons:
- The applicators that comes along with the palette weren't of much use, honestly. They were the tiniest applicators I've ever seen, and having a small hand still doesn't give it much justice.
- Some shades were not as pigmented so you really need to pack it on.

But to sum it all, regardless of the miniature applicators and a few swatches which are a bit transparent if not packed on, I'd have to say it's worth every penny.
Now, I wake up in the morning knowing that I have an on-the-go palette that I can carry with me when I travel, and I can get away with packing more than 10 makeup items because I have this! Love!
Many thanks to Omnia from Mikyajy for sending this palette for review purposes.

Special thanks as well to my good friend, Elmer A. Magallanes Jr. for the product photography. Job well done! And of course, to my ever reliable and great photographer partner, Dennis Turla; for the assistance during Elmer's shoot.
Stay tuned for my next blog post featuring a photoshoot in which I used this palette as my main tool!
Bonne Nuit Ladies! :)
Glad to be back on track with writing :)
XOXO,
